Only taste matters.

Presumably, within 5 years or so, all Software Developement using Programming Languages will be obsolete. AI Models will directly produce binaries, there is no need for the progamming language abstraction. The only work left to do for "software engineers" is to provide judgement and taste, but moreso the latter because designs will eventually converge by efficiency. Therefore, as long as Human are the consumer of software products, "the matter of taste" will stick around.
